Coronavirus Prevention with Worchem

The rapid spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) has caused devastation globally, with more than 2000 deaths in Mainland China and counting. According to the Ministry of Health, although the likelihood of a widespread outbreak is low-moderate, the likelihood of an imported case in New Zealand is high.

Worchem products have been included as part of The Infection Prevention Strategy’s (TIPS) report on cleaning and prevention methods, outlined below. We’re pleased Worchem products will help make a difference to COVID-19 prevention.

COVID-19 spreads from person to person, usually via respiratory droplets. It is also possible to contract Coronavirus by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it, then touching your mouth, nose or eyes. This means that it is paramount that public spaces, hospitals, clinics and other institutions are thoroughly disinfected, and NaDCC is one of the most effective means to do so.
